Worship at Spirit of Joy is central to our community!

Expression of that worship ranges from Traditional Lutheran Communion Liturgy to Contemporary Worship with modern music to Youth-led Worship. We offer occasional worship experiences in healing services, renewing of marriage vows, first communion for children, baptismal services, and many seasonal worship services and special events. Our pool and fountain on the property provide a great backdrop for special events such as baptisms or a marriage service.

Winter Sunday Worship Times (November 6, 2011-April 29, 2012)

TRADITIONAL LUTHERAN SERVICE : 8:00 am

At Spirit of Joy, our Traditional Lutheran Worship Service uses Lutheran expressions of liturgy centered around the Word of God and includes open communion every Sunday. Favorite hymns, choral music, vocal choirs, and bell choirs help equip all to focus on the Sacred.

TEACHING WORSHIP SERVICE : 9:15am

The Teaching Worship Service teaches people the fundamentals of Christian faith. We study our beliefs and actions within a worship experience with diverse music. (Communion on the first and third Sundays of each month). Bring your bibles every Sunday!

SUNDAY SCHOOL OPENING at 8:45am for parents and kids. Sunday School classes (for kids and adults!) follow at 9:15am. See Children's Ministries page (CHILDREN'S MINISTRY) for more information.

CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP SERVICE : 10:30am

Spirit of Joy’s Contemporary Worship Service celebrates the grace of God by inviting all people to express their faith as the spirit guides them. Through interactive contemporary music with a beat, we clap and raise our hands, experience relevant messages, and participate in open communion every Sunday.

Note: Nursery is available at all worship services.

CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP SERVICE: 9:30am. Sunday School for children during this service on June 5, 12, 19, 26, July 10, 17, 24, 31.
